Welcome to our wonderful centre. We provide the children of Darling Downs families with a unique education and care setting. Wyreema Early Education offers extended hours care for up to 115 children from 6 weeks old to primary school age.
We're dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every child’s rights come first. Our aim is to inspire meaningful play and exploration, helping each child grow to their full potential and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Quality and inclusive educators.
Qualifications are held in the highest regard at Wyreema Early Education. It is an expectation that all employees have completed their minimum training before caring for children within our centre. We encourage our staff to continue their education and training and provide frequent professional development.
Our teaching teams consist of Bachelor qualified staff, as well as TAFE graduates holding Advanced Diplomas, Diplomas and Certificate III’s in Children’s Services. All staff photos are in the centre foyer, please feel welcome to view them.

Hi, my name is Kelly, and I am the Director at Wyreema Early Education. With over 20 years of experience in the field, I have worked in various settings, from family-owned centres to large corporate facilities, catering to children from birth through school age. In 2018, I earned my Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, which qualified me as an Early Childhood Teacher.
I am passionate about working with children and cherish the opportunity to witness their growth into confident and vibrant individuals. I firmly believe that every child deserves a reliable advocate—someone who will support them unconditionally. My goal is to be that person for the children on their journey of play-based, hands-on learning and development.

Hi, my name is Sonja, and I am the 2IC and Educational Leader at Wyreema Early Education. With 12 years of experience in the childcare industry, I began my journey as a student and progressively advanced to the role of Lead Educator, eventually joining the leadership team.
I am passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for children, allowing me to witness their growth and learning firsthand. I am committed to mentoring fellow educators in their educational programs and practices, ensuring they provide safe, supportive, and stimulating environments for all children.
